Repo socks are the new generation of outdoor socks that won the innovation award at the Scandinavian Outdoor Awards. The inspiration for Repo socks came from layering. The warm and breathable socks with an invisible toe seam ensure a comfortable feel for your feet throughout the hike. The regular-length shaft warms your feet all the way down to your calf, and the thick merino wool terry sole on the sole ensures that the cold ground does not freeze your feet.

The unique multi-layer construction makes the socks very warm, even though they are medium thick. The upper part is knitted from merino wool-Tencel yarn, the upper part has a 2-layer construction with polyamide and merino wool-Tencel and the bottom part is knitted with a 4-layer construction using triple merino wool-Tencel yarn and polyamide. There is a light tightening in the middle of the foot to improve the fit of the socks.

Thanks to the unique multi-layer construction, the socks are very warm, even though they are of medium thickness. The high wool content of the socks makes them warm enough even in very cold weather. Repo socks replace the traditional base-oversock arrangement, meaning you don't need other socks underneath these socks to provide extra warmth, but if necessary, there is room for real cold toes in the base socks.

The Merino wool-Tencel combination is warm and particularly soft. Tencel adds durability to merino wool and makes the already excellent material even more breathable and elastic. The antibacterial merino wool makes the socks an ideal travel companion for a trip, as after use the socks can be hung to air out, even in the corner of a backpack, and they are ready to use again. The seamless toe makes the socks comfortable to wear even on longer hikes, as the toe seam does not press or rub the foot.

Care instructions:

• we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
• for marine socks, airing alone is often sufficient
• careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
• use as light a spin as possible
• the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
• do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
• do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
• please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
• use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
