Multi-purpose winter sports socks with a merino wool base.
The Winter XC socks have a thin 2-layer construction, which makes them very durable and functional. Merino wool in the foot section provides warmth to the feet against the cold from the ground, and a light tightening at the arch improves the fit of the socks. The elastic sports arm keeps the socks well in place.
Perfect for skiing, running or just yard work.
Merino wool and polypropylene together effectively wick moisture away from the skin, keeping your feet dry and comfortable. Merino wool promotes breathability and warmth in the socks. Due to its antibacterial properties, merino wool socks also do not easily start to smell, even if your feet sweat a little during use. This effectively extends the washing interval and lifespan of the socks. Polyamide adds durability to the socks.
Thanks to their thin structure, the socks fit even with many tight shoes.
This product is also made in Sukkamestarit's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish work.

Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
