The socks are medium in thickness, making them suitable for running shoes and ski boots. The tights on the socks create a slight compression. The material is NATIVA merino wool, which is soft and breathable. The technical materials of the socks effectively wick moisture away from the skin, while the merino wool provides adequate warmth.
Merinostep socks are a good choice for cooler weather in autumn and winter.
This product is also made in Sukkamestarit's own factory in Ylöjärvi with 100% Finnish work.

Care instructions:
- we recommend pre-washing merino wool socks before use
- for marine socks, airing alone is often sufficient
- careful washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius
- use as light a spin as possible
- the use of a wash bag saves wear and tear on the product
- do not use detergents containing rinsing agents or bleaching agents
- do not use a tumble dryer or drying programmes
- please note that merino wool socks will shrink in the wash, please shape/stretch the socks while damp to restore the original size
- use a lint remover - merino wool socks are easily linted by rubbing
Wool is a warm and breathable material. Sheep wool has excellent performance characteristics, as it breathes and insulates heat well. Self-renewing and biodegradable, natural fibre absorbs moisture well, does not wrinkle and straightens quickly. For wool products, airing rather than washing is sometimes sufficient. Wool is naturally fire-retardant, highly resistant to bacteria and mould.
